Google has finally introduced the book search system we wrote about previously, calling it Google Print. The service provides book information and excerpts on the Web, which Google indexes semi-normally (they have little "BOOK - BETA" tags in front of them). While the pages do have ads, apparently the ads currently being run for free (advertisers don't have to pay anything).
Sort of underwhelming if you ask me. (Hat tip: Nick.)
